Prowler Proof screens cost no more than any other screen that might use screws or rivets, but the fully welded Prowler Proof looks better, is stronger, and offers better corrosion protection than any of its competitors.

Prowler Proof has been Australian owned and operated since 1984, and manufacture their products in a high tech Australian facility. Not only are Prowler Proof a better-quality screen, they are also the only Australian screen manufacturer to offer a 10-year replacement warranty.

The biggest difference between Prowler Proof screens and other screens is their fully welded frame. With seamless corners, a Prowler Proof screen looks and feels like it’s made in one piece. Compared to a screen that’s held together with screws or rivets, Prowler Proof looks better, feels better, and is stronger. The welded frame also means there’s no risk of corrosion caused by metals interacting.

Prowler Proof products have been rigorously tested to all relevant Australian standards, and have met or exceed them all. As part of these tests, Prowler Proof screens have been kicked, pulled, attacked with knifes, screwdrivers and cutting pliers. None were any match for the security Prowler Proof screens offer.

Prowler Proof’s ForceField range even withstood steel bullets shot at over 170km/h and 4kg timber blocks hurled at over 100km/h, passing both the Australian Standards Cyclone Test and the American Standards Hurricane Test.

Built to last in Australian conditions, all Prowler Proof products have survived a 1000-hour Salt-Spray Test with no signs of corrosion. Their ForceField range is approved for buildings in prime bushfire areas, and other Prowler Proof products just need an optional stainless-steel insect gauze to comply. A European test even revealed that ForceField screens reduce heat and UV light by 55%.
